Our investigate work is focus on the sexual child abuse in our country, basically in the place called "La Merced":

the sexual child abuse in this place is known for this activities where many people promove the sexual children service. The child prostitution is a product of the extreme social tolerance to these crimes and the negligence of the police against this situation.

the stadistics are:

it is calculated that in la Merced are exploted 4 thousand kids, in wich the 80% are girls between 10 and 14 years old

20% that work in the prostitution in "la Merced" are children.

more than 78% of the sexual workers in "La Merced" begun this activities when they were children and many of them were forced to take drugs to bear ten intimate meetings per day.

also is calculated:

400 minors are prostituited in this moment.

27,000 minors every year.

3,000 are forced.

between 2,000 and 5,000 minors with Aids.

20% of people are in search of having sex with children and only the 3% of them recognize have had sex with minors.

there are young girls that work in bars, hotels and beer restaurants located in tolerance zones of adult prostitution. we are talking about girls that have less than 18 years old and that they are prostituted, basically after they are seen in others states of the country and they are lack of people that can support them. The only relations that they have are people that prostitute the girls.

We think that the government should create a special unit for this zone. This unit will infiltrate and stop the child prostitution nets.

im going to do an interview to some people and then i will publish a report about the answer of theses people.

child abuse

Child abuse is the physical, emotional or sexual abuse or neglect of children by parents, guardians, or others. While most child abuse happens in the child's home, large numbers of cases of child abuse have been identified within some organizations involving children, such as churches, schools, child care businesses, and in particular native residential schools,[1] or in government agencies.[2] It also sometimes occurs almost anywhere (eg kidnappings, random murders etc.)
According to a recent UNICEF report on child well-being[3] the United States and the United Kingdom ranked lowest among rich nations with respect to the well being of their children. This study also found that child neglect and child abuse are far more common in single-parent families than in families where both parents are present. There are many forms of abuse and neglect and many governments have developed their own legal definition of what constitutes child maltreatment for the purposes of removing a child and/or prosecuting a criminal charge. In the United States, the Federal Government puts out a full definition of child abuse and neglect and creates a summary of each State definition.
